Default USPS Shipping Problems

I just wondering what everyone thinks. I shipped out TC5 to a member on Rctech. He paid I shipped the next day. I'm in Michigan and He's in Wisconsin. I checked the tracking number that I was given and the tracking number says its in Billings,Mt. WTF!! The receipt shows the correct city and Zip Code. The package was suppose to be at his door today. Any idea on what I should do??

Thanks

Did you use priority or parcel post?

I called the 800 number. It says package is on its way to desination. My father in law is a mailman and he said it most likely got put on the wrong truck.

That happens all the time. Luckily I live near a "Major USPS hub". Several times I have shipped things to miami, fl(I live in tampa) and it goes to Jacksonville FL (2 hours in the opposite direction!)

I hope you got insurance on it.

Standing on soapbox:
Why does USPS offer insurance? THEY handle your package, its THIER responsibility to deliver it to the address you put on the package-Safely and in a timely manner, and they offer insurance that covers you if USPS doesnt do their job-or do it right. Thats like McDonalds offering insurance incase they dont put pickles on their bigmac.... WHY?!?!?!

I've had lots of problems with USPS too.. the last two packages I received tracked to my city and "out for delivery", but weren't delivered until the next day. I often find that the tracking info is incorrect until it gets to my door.

USPS has been sucking lately. I bought something from a guy in Massachusetts, I live in CT, i should have received it in one-two days, TOPS!!

The package went from MA.....to NJ??WTF, then back to MA...WTF Part 2, then delivered to me in CT 4 days later....total fail....

Goodluck i hope you get it all sorted out.
