Default Got scammed!!

We have a sacmmer amidst us men!! Buyers beware of iflybyu. Took my money and fell off the face of the earth. No replies to any of my communication attempts. He had good trader ratings so I figured I was safe. Beware of and stay clear of any dealings with iflybyu!! You have been warned!!

Maybe he had an issue. How long has your transaction been.

Default Scammer

Let's see. Payment was made on the 25th of May and not once has he or she contacted me or replied to any of my e-mails. Issues? Spending my money and not giving me what I bought, that's his issues.

How was payment made? Via paypal or money order? If paypal as long as you didn't pay by gift you should file a claim right away, if money order (post office) that is mail fraud and you should contact the authorities... Hope everything works out for you......

Nope I was foolish and paid with paypal as a gift to save the 3%. I seen he had 3 good transactions and figured I was safe. Shame on him for cheating me but stupid of me to save 3%. Now I am out all of it over a few dollars. Live and learn.

If you paid via CC, then you can still file a claim with your CC company. Sounds like you did a paypal balance transfer though so you might really be out of luck.

Seriously... what's fees on something like a $200 sale?.. $6 whopping dollars ????

Not too mention you didn't save yourself anything...... the seller pays the pay-pal fees not you as the buyer.

Except some sellers want YOU to pay their fees. Walk away folks, and never send money as a gift.

You are correct. I should have paid the fees. Now I am out everything. Live and learn. I know I screwed up just letting you know to be aware of iflybyu. Don't let him get you as well.

+1 on paying the fees

its worth the extra ~$10 if its anything over $10

if its over $10, i always pay the fees. if the guy asks for a gift, i still pay the fees

i will NEVER pay as a gift unless the guy is local, i have met him many times, and i know he is trustworthy (IE: a track regular that everyone knows)

Just a note to inform you that Dwight received his purchase. There was a mail strike here and I was in the middle of the atlantic and had no means to communicate.
