Default Need some help please

OK, here it :I bought $90.00 worth of tires of here. Seller said he would ship the next day (9/14/10) with delivery confirmation. Sent the seller a PM on 9/24/10 asking if they were sent out yet. Never got a #. Seller said yes, figured you got them already. Checked on 9/24/10, now seller says that the box was returned damaged, and had a torn label. Seller now says will re pack it now and I will re send it priority so you can have them before the weekend. Now its 10/06/10 and still nothing, and I'm out $90.00. Seller will not send me a PM back. My last option is to file a claim with PayPal. Any other suggestions would be great. Thanks.

It has been over 10 days, you should have them by now. I would file a complaint with paypal and on RCTech too. They if you dont get a response you can get $90 worth of blasting him online

I would save the online blasting as a last resort.

I am still trying to work out something with a hobby store that closed and shorted me $240 worth of RC items back in June. They have made an attempt to make it right but have never followed through, so in my book thats worse than no attempt. There are many shady people out there that dont do what they say. And then you have guys online like the guy I just bought a NIB engine from. He not only described the item 100% accurate he shipped it the next day and then bubble wrapped the engine in the original box and packaged it in a box with styrofoam peanuts. I have never received items that were professionally wrapped as this guy did. Rock on 071crazy best shipper I have seen yet. You just never know who you are dealing with. Sometimes all is great sometimes its good and then there are times like the one you are going through where it just plain sucks.

Not that any of my last paragraph helps your situation but I have to believe that karma is a bitch when it comes to stuff like this.

Hey man, if you used paypal they can sometimes give you a rough time. If you used a credit card through paypal there is another option...you can dispute the charges. but don't wait to long because when i did it i only had like 90 days. it was simple to dispute. fast and easy. they got all my money back.

send a message to the seller telling him you have been patient long enough, but you will give him one more chance to make it right before you file a claim. that usually lights a fire under their A$$. try to be nice to the seller he will be more receptive to you................................... If that does not work than let loose the dogs of war!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its USPS, are you surprised? If he just reshipped like he stated previously, it could be days before that updates, if at all

I am. I have shipped a lot of stuff USPS always with conformation. When you drop it off it says: Acceptance with a date. Unless you drop it in a bin and it happened today over a week after seller stated it was shipped back to the buyer.

Not all the time my friend. I've shipped USPS, dropped it off at their Customer Service counter and had the confirmation number not return on their website till days after the package arrived 1/2 across the county.

Bottom line is USPS is shitty with their tracking/confirmation, downright horrible.

smokinu is a pretty good guy, has a ton of interaction on RCTech and RCShortCourse.com. I'd be pretty surprised if he'd ruin his reputation over $90.00 worth of tires. The crime doesn't sound worth it.
