Kind of an expensive learning experience, but don't pay as a gift to someone that you don't know.

Having 5 feedbacks means nothing first of all. Were they buyer or seller feedback? If he bought 5 things for $2 each does that make him a worthy seller? NOPE!

As for paypal, I send and receive $5-$8k per month through them. When selling I ALWAYS offer a price for standard payment and take a few dollars off if the BUYER CHOOSES to send as a gift. However, when doing this I provide MANY references and even give my business license and tax ID number to help ease concerns. You have no recourse for protection through paypal when sent as a gift but good for you having the CC to back you up.

The seller is a douche and should be reported. Did you provide us his name? I will be happy to find all his FS threads and link back to this article ensuring nobody buys from him. There is nothing worse than a scammer. Good luck to you.

You still haven't received anything? Not even a tracking number or anything to confirm that it is even on it's way to you?

According to the pm exchange posted earlier it looks like it is JaDeR.

Also, his feedback is from four sellers and two people he traded with. He has no feedback from buyers.

I just noticed that on the original for sale thread all it says now is "SOLD". Whenever I purchase something on here I always copy the original ad so I will have a little something to back me up later on if something were to go wrong. I always save the description and the pictures onto my computer.

I only Trust People with more + feed back then me if they have less i will nt send money as a Gift.
The only way i would have sent it as a gift is he would have had like 30+ feed back and has been on RcTech for over a year are 2. Most guys that have 30+ good feed back and have been on a web sight for over a year are 2 are not gone to rip any one off they have to much to lose.
