Default CB4800---- Shady Individual

Be aware of CB4800, new user with no feedback or posts, we agreed to a deal on a buggy i had for sale, was to pay on friday, never got the money, he told me that the bank was closed, continued contact, said money will be sent monday, no money, contacted again, the buyer forgot what he was buying but still was interested, told him he had until tues to pay, shortly after he sends an email saying he just paid, and forwarded me an email he got from paypal, one issue, the person who he sai was paid was not even me or was not for the amount agreed upon, very shady IMHO, recommend buyers and sellers to stay away for now.

words of Advice, if they do not pay with in a hour of wanting my item i relist it for sale. never hold a item when a buyer says il pay friday. the bank being closed has nothing to do with it.if you had money in your Paypal account he could have sent payment.after the FIRST excuse i would have relisted for sale.

thanks for posting the heads up.sounds like he was trying to scam you with the email from paypal.

A buyer doesn't need to forward anything saying he/she paid you. PayPal sends you a message saying you received money.

As for the bank bit, a bunch of people were screwed last week because Friday was a holiday. That is no lie, nor is it a defense of the accused.

you can send money 24-7 through paypal, debit or credit card internet does not shut down on holidays, not even online banking.
