BRUNEI 1/8 GP OFFROAD LEAGUE 2014


OPEN FOR ALL DRIVERS BASED IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM.
The League is also open to international racers , therefore a separate ranking will be provided.

Date and Venue
Round 1: GHL Track Tungku Link (30th March 2014)
Round 2: 4th May 2014 - Tungku Link Track
Round 3: 8th June 2014 - Tungku Link Track
Round 4: TBC after round 3
Round 5: GHL Track Tungku Link

Registration Fees
BND40 for one class and BND70 for both classes.
Truggy class will only be run if a minimum of 6 truggy entries are received.
Ep 1/8Buggy will only be run if a minimum of 6 entries are received.

Basic Information
Lunch and Marshalls are provided.
No house transponders are provided. However, it is the responsibility of the drivers to ensure that correct PT number is registered to avoid any inconvenience during the race day.
Please register in full name.
Lap Counting and Timing System: AMB (Please note that the new 3 wires Mylap PT are not working).

Racing Format

Buggy
Total of 5 qualifying heats, each 10 minutes and 3 best heats will be selected for the qualifying positions according to the point system.

Truggy
Total of 3 qualifying heats, each 10 minutes and 2 best heats will be selected for the qualifying positions according to the point system.

EP 1/8 Buggy (Support Race only)
Total of 3 heats 7 minutes qualifying - At least 6 racers shall register in order to run this class

Finals
Christmas Tree Finals.

Ranking
League overall ranking will be based on point system.

Foreigners and non-Bruneians racers will be allowed to participate , therefore they will not be included into the Brunei only ranking. A separate Ranking will be provided.

The league will run 5 rounds and for the final and overall ranking the 3 best rounds will be taken into account. If 4 rounds only due to unforeseen reasons , same the 3 best rounds will count. If 3 rounds are run , the 2 best rounds will count and if 2 rounds are run , the 2 best rounds will count.

Race Schedule
4 qualifying heats on Sunday Morning and 1 qualifying heat followed by Christmas Tree Finals on Sunday Afternoon. This is however subjected to the condition of the weather.
For Truggy 2/3 qualifying heats on Sunday Morning and 1 qualifying heat on Sunday afternoon.
For EP 1/8 Buggy 2/3 qualifying heats on Sunday Morning and 1 qualifying heat on Sunday afternoon.

Rules - Open
