Exclamation The 2006 Hobbystation Invitational and Brisbane Cup

Announcing - The 2006 Hobbystation Invitational and Brisbane Cup!

On the 22nd and 23rd of April, Hobbystation, in association with the Brisbane RC Motorsports Club will host a special invitational race consisting of 8 drivers from around Australia, running parallel to this event will be the Brisbane Cup.

Classes to be run: 27turn Rebuildable Stock, Modified and 540 Tourer as a demo class ONLY.

More details are to be announced in the following week or two, but to let everyone in on the action, here is a sneak peak at the CONFIRMED invitational drivers!

Hey hawker,

what would the track be indoor or outdoor track? just there are two listed on the hobbystation website, or is indoor ytrack onroad and outdoor track offroad..?

do you have any more pictures of the track?

hey there!


the indoor track is a high grip asphalt track, the outdoor is an offroad track, I've got a recent phtos (today) of the offroad track, i'll get some more of the indoor for you on tuesday, I'll post both up then!

I am so excited to have this event hosted in Hobby Station!!!

This will be our first big cup event, and so glad to see the top drivers coming from interstate to attend this event.

Really looking forward to this event, should be awesome to watch the invitational class as well as race in mod.

Come on up Jaybo, spread the word down south and get some others to come up as well. Maybe you can add to the armature coffin while you're up here .

Entry form and format are being drawn up at the moment, it will be released as soon as all invitations (for invitational class) are recieved. Watch this space.

heya!

off the top of my head I can't remember the exact dimensions, I'll check up on that at work tomorrow, but its roughly 2 and a half tennis courts side by side, we have air conditioned pit rooms upstairs with a few TV's and a lounge, with the shop and workshop downstairs! You should look at coming up for the event!
