Getting back into On Road Racing

Hi All,

I'm looking at getting back into on road racing (probably stock tourer 13.5 blinky) after being away from the sport for around 2 years. I have a Team Associated TC6.1 with a lot of the optional RSD bits and pieces from back when they were the thing to have. It has a Series 1 Tekin RS speedy with a MMM 13.5 motor and Savox Servo.

My main question I guess is, would this set up still be competitive and if so is it worth racing an older car and risking breaking something that possibly cant be replaced due to lack of parts?

If I was to look into a new chassis to run what is a competitive chassis now?

Thoughts and opinions would be much appreciated.

To start off with what you have will be fine, you can still be competitive, maybe as you run consistently upgrade to a newer motor, if 6 mths down the line you stick with it maybe then look at chassis options etc Still plenty of stores with TC6 parts and the RS ESC can still run a blinky 13.5 fine.
