Default Scratch built 1/10 RC Holden HX Overlander Panel Van

Hi guys,
This is a project I've been working on for the past couple of years...thought that I will share it with you if anyone's interested....

very nice mate, great job. Its a pity there is not more bodies available of the old holdens. I have the a9x, lj and the vc but would love more. Not really a racer so don't care much for the aerodynamic bodies.

Hey thanks blarks! I love the old Holden's as well! Especially the HQ-Hx series ! I'm planning to build a HQ Monaro coupe when I'm done with the panel van... It's a pity that they aren't available over here as I'm sure I would already have a 1:1 to model it from...so I just have to rely on pics found on the Internet !

A monaro would be awesome, I just don't have the skill or patience to create a body like you've done although I've often thought about it, I have the modeling skills of a newborn child lol! Keep us updated on the hx and the monaro when it comes around. Awesome scale replication!

Fantastic Job prestonial. I haven`t had the chance to go through your build as yet but what material did you use for the body.
Been thinking of building something like what you have done.
The body looks very well duplicated from the real thing.
Keep up the good work,it is surely a credit to you.

Lol...thanks guys ! It is bit of a read.. Think you will enjoy seeing the real leather Sandman seats and the dashboard....not to mention the shag interior with white leather interior....
