It would have to be a lot better than the previous model. I was the importer and this car was fast but a total disaster.... it keeps breaking. From what I have seen so far of the new model it doesn't look much different to the old one

Apparently there are some concerns over the new car too

See this review: http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/reviewx10/index.html

It doesn't look a lot different to the old ETQ, I'd bet all the upgrades would be compatible...
Good to see they finally changed to a steel pinion ..

Funniest part is the "extra" bearing secret tip....I had that on my pred 10 years go!

spracer- Lue you had the fastest pred i ever saw. i think its becoming a very competitive 4wd market, will be interesting to see if it sinks or swims. Still looks like alot of hand fitting is required..... i hate that. You should only have to hand fit parts to improve performance, not so a car will perform basic functions.

First meeting out in New Zealand. The Predator X10 wins the North Island Championships by a considerable margin on a track that was very bumpy and slippery. Not one single part broken.

Anyone know what the ball-park pricing will be (is) for one of these things?

Considering what is available in the 4wd Market currently I can't see why you would even consider this car. It's going to be seriously expensive, parts hard to come by, and its performance unproven on the track. Also reading that review on oooplle.com sounds like there's a bit of hand fitting involved in the assembly, no thanks
