Default LRP Q2 Speedys

I have a Q2 and I noticed that it stoped twice. Pick the car up and the thing starts again.
I am running a Epic stock with IB3800 batteries. I am not running a cap on it. Anyone else had the same problem and fixed it?

Is the speedy getting abnormally hot at all? Is it too hot to touch? I dont run a QC2 but that sounds a lot like a thermal shutdown type problem.

Another thing to check for is to see if one of your battery bars hasnt come loose!!

I had this happen the other week and after checking ll my electronics ten times over a mate found the problem..

I had this happen with a Q2, it was only the second time I had used it. Shut down for no reason and then started again. I eventually had it replaced. The one I have now is fine.

The speedy is not hot at all. If anything, it is the coolest part inside the car.

The battery straps and links, wires, etc... are new and have been well soin place. brother has a Q2 as well ahis does the same. thought that not running a cawould be the reason. guess I might puone on and see how it goes.

That explains why you got them cheap, must be faulty units or something C U at Windsor tonight and I will have a look at it again.

Fixed, I guess.

I put a Pro Blue Cap on it. Didn't cut out once at Windsor last night. Wish I could say the same about the motor, hehe.
