Mini T Class
It looks like we will have the numbers to run a separate Mini T class this coming meeting, Sun 5.2.06.
If you have a Mini T bring it along and enjoy some racing.
We hope to see this as a permanent class.
Thanks,
Tony G.

We had the first round of the Mini T pointscore today and received news that a Mini T Pro has been donated as the first place prize for the Mini T class. Pointscore runs from now through to the end of June and you get to drop a round so it isn't too late for anyone who is interested in going for the prize.
Next meeting is third Sunday 19th, we had 5 in the class today hope to see a few more next meeting.
Thanks to Stuart for the donation.

Hi Guys,
Yesterday was a great day! Great weather and good racing allround. I highly recommend anyone thinking about racing, but a bit apprehensive to make the leap, do so, come down and have some fun because thats what our club prides itself on. No pressure, no politics, just good fun racing....everyone helps each other out and I was particularly impressed with the help I was given when I had a part failure right before racing started....

Hi tony2
If you mean mod buggy then yes we normally have a full heat. There were 7 entries last Sunday and the top 4 cars traded FTD all day.
If you are coming down we try to kick off by 10.30 entries close around 10.15 and have 3 heats then 3 finals (all 5min) for all electric classes and 3 five minute heats and 2 eight minute finals with a compulsory fuel stop for the gas classes. Usually finish by 4.30 at the latest. Entry fee is $10 for visitors and $7.50 for members.

What about entries for stock 2wd? Does the club have a website?
#22
There is a website but unfortunately I don't know the address, the web is undergoing revision though and I understand there will be a new address in the near future. Maybe one of the others that use the website could post the address?
As to stock we also get a full heat of 2wd stock with similar levels of competition. Again in stock FTD was changing almost every run with Michael Kelly eventually taking it away from Tony in the last round with a near faultless drive.

Weather permitting I was looking to come down for a practice on Sunday. Is the track open? What tyres will work on 1/5 scale Baja buggy at your track?See you Sunday.

1/10th electric trucks and buggies are permitted any time though I think they are planning a bit of work on the track for saturday so wouldn't go then unless you want to lend a hand
By council directive gas cars of any scale are only permitted on organised race days at which times we only have classes for 1/10th scale. The track isn't designed or constructed for anything larger. The ban on gas cars is enforced by the on site ranger.

I'd hoped that would get your attention,a couple of us are looking at coming there on Sunday for practice (10th scale electric).I've heard the council will not let any cars on, gas or otherwise.
