I ran my car on low to mid grip at Knox on weekend, I was quicker with standard setup than old car straight away and I had the chance to used both 4 and 3 gearbox and the 3 was still faster and easier to drive.

I think the best improvement is gearbox layout and battery position.

Hi Andrew,

Did you build yours as three or four gear transmission? Have you tried both and what is your recommendation?

Well It's gone from "I just want one" to "I'll not be getting one for a loooong time"

Seems there are more important things around than racing R/C......

I will enjoy reading about the exploits of the 3.0 though so keep the contributions happening

Lol, I hear that. I'm always throwing up if money spent on RC would be better spent on my car or motorbike.

I couldn't justify the expense if , as I have in 2015 , I only race 4 times a year........

But if you say that you will race every second weekend to justify it , you get doghoused for not being home......

No win in either case

Model Flight part number is TLR03006 (the TLR number)

Unsure of the lead time on postage to the US - I'd expect it may be around 2 weeks maybe?

You should have ordered TWO, one for yourself and one for Shane so we don't have to pity the fool!
