The club has a ten year lease with Palmerston council to build and maintain a track at Marlows Lagoon.
Meetings with the council and local earthmoving contractors are happening this week. We are also applying for various grants through the nt government.
Any help is appreciated as long as the committee is made aware of what is being done.

Is there any Offroad EP racing in Darwin at the moment?

The track should be finished in the next few months. Classes are undecided hopefully EP gets some interest.

yeah me a few friends used to race at Marrarra in the late 90s, it would be great to use the space.

Tony (OCR) did a great job for 10 years I remember the oval racing was awesome it was a shame to see him close.
As of Saturday night the off road racers in Darwin are now homeless, Tony has made the difficult decision of closing the race track to concentrate on his Business venture.
Given the show of hands after the announcement i think a new facility can be organised and up and running by the start of next year.
If any southern clubs can offer any assistance it would be great but ultimately it's up to the guys up here to pull together and make it happen. Speak up now or we might as well flood eBay with our unused gear....
