We will be giving the Carine track a haircut and beard trim on Sunday the 6th of April from 2pm . All welcome to attend as well as sorting the lawns we will be putting down some new piping and fixing the fence etc , bring your cars and have a run after we finish .

Vintage Day

The Perth Tamiya club and CRCCC are holding a vintage and re release fun day on Sunday the 18th of May starting at 10 am . All types of vehicles welcome to participate in some casual laps as well as timed races .

We are looking at running a brushed 540 ( sport tuned , silver can etc ) class and a modified class for brushless powered cars . Timing will be set up and there will be plenty of transponders for loan if you dont have one . Any input on this is welcome so if you have any suggestions post them here .

Hot dogs for lunch and cold drinks available , enter Penistone park via Aldis Street Greenwood on the morning of the event .

Just been down to the track and there is a lot of slippery sections plus wet clay and with more showers and no sun today it wont dry quickly so racing is unfortunately cancelled .

2014 Carine Buggy Championships



Carine Radio Controlled Car Car Club is pleased to announce the running of the 2014 Carine Buggy Championships on Sunday 23rd of November.

Perpetual trophies for the winners in 2wd buggy , 4wd buggy and 1/8th buggy with medallions for all minor placings plus support classes

Support classes include , Corr truck 4wd + 2wd , truggy , truck and novice class will also run if numbers are good .

Format will be 2 x 6 min qualy

3 x 6 min finals best 2 out of three wins.

The BBQ will also be active as well as cold drinks and after race refreshments so hope to see a big turnout for some fun in the sun.

Race format 3 Qualifiers & 3 Finals for all classes Gates Open 7.30am, drivers are not to go out for practice until they have checked their nominations and paid their entry fee for the event. Drivers Briefing 9am, first race to start immediately following

NOTICE TO ALL DRIVERS: The track has no pit shelters, tables or chairs. All drivers need to bring along their own pit shelter, tables, chairs, power boards & extension leads. The power system at the track can handle all the chargers and equipment but NO COMPRESSORS are to be run from the mains at the track. IF you wish to bring your own compressor to the track, please bring your own generator to power it (and beware if people find it there may be a queue to use it!) Tents inside the main complex of the track are on a 'first in, best dressed' basis. All other tents and shelter is to be set up against the fence as close as possible to the track complex, on the OVAL side of the gate.

Vehicles are to be parked up against the limestone wall along the edge of the Park to keep things neat and tidy. THE PARK GATES will be CLOSED at 8:30 sharp and will not re open until the event is finished so if you think you might leave early or visit Maccas 3 times for food during the day YOU MUST park in the main carpark as you wont be let out. The Carine Radio Control Car Club will have a BBQ running, and cold drinks & Water available throughout the day.
