Default Pinion Gears

So I've got a bunch of 1/10 scale off road buggies, and have come to the realisation that I am way understocked on pinion gears. So I just bought 1/2 a dozen or so robinson pinion gears, but I'm now wondering - should I be buying pinion gears that are made of a particular material? Aluminium? Titanium? Other? Would appreciate your feedback.

For massive stock size pinions I go aluminium, for small mod pinions I go steel because there's less material anyway and they'll last forever.

I like RW pinions. They seem to last for ever, have good threads and M3 grub screws.

Available in 32, 48, and Tamiya AV , .06 mod. I think it is, the courser pitch they use.
