Thumbs up Spektrum System

Might be good to start a new thread for Australian racers. Any comments with anyone lucky enough to have one would be welcome. Should get mine soon

I heard that the system tend to glitch bad with cars with blue stuff on them

I'm interested in confirmation that the slow response time problem has been resolved and additional receivers are no longer hard to "re-bind" to the same transmitter.

Any news?

Model Flight will be bringing them in shortly in Australia and I was told they had one sample in the toy fair in Melbourne last weekend. I heard that Flysti and Contact have them already. Might be good to hear from them.

I have the spektrum system for Ko Helios for about 2 weeks now. So far it has worked flawlessly. Although I haven't raced with it yet.

got it from stormer hobbies in the US. I wouldn't get the stand alone receiver just yet though, as there are quite a few older stocks lying around. The older receiver are said to have a few problems.

dan,
like i said the other nite on the phone, it has been fine for me.
had it since early feb & no probs.
as far as the slow response time, this has only been a problem at some of the US indoor tracks.
did have some bull**** on sunday but it was the servo.......no problem with the spektrum.

100%, Absolutely, Totally with out a doubt, yes.

They use the 2.4 ghz spectrum which is free from restrictions, except some power restrictions which the Spektrum units should not have any problems with.

Model Flight is my LHS, im hanging out to get the system from them!

Spektrum Rx next to KR-302. A bit bigger but a tiny bit lighter.
