Hi.
This track still open??

I believe i read somewhere that its been closed and the owner is turning it into a motorcross track.
I also heard a rumour that Highway Hobbies at Long Jetty (who have just opened a new indoor track) are building an offroad outdoor track behind the indoor track.... fingers crossed for that one. We definitely need an offroad track on the central coast.

The Offroad track was at Bateau Bay wasn't it? Maitland used to have an interclub with them, and I believe may have played some part in setting that club up to begin with. My first race at the Central Coast was under lights at one of those interclub meets. The same lights that Ryde used until recently.
It was a nice track to drive. Very sandy soil which kept the grip low, but consistent. The esses in the centre of the track were the highlight for me. Get those right and you'd really make some time.
