For people without a fast connection the sale forum is dog slow when alot of photo's are posted. A link to the photo would do or an attachment. Majority rules, so please cast your vote.
Could a two Boards be added to the Australian board for "for sale" and "Wanted" posts?
that way each add would have its own thread and you could only look at the stuff you are interested in. and people wouldnt have to re-post it every few days.
for example, here is one i have set up for the ACTMCRC.
Maybe a restriction on file size, like 800x600 (then you can get enough detal in) with around 50-60kb for each file size. No silly 1600x1200 at nearly a meg business.

much like the for sale in the international forum which gets packed by guys trading in US$ and people repost every hour almost to keep theirs on the first page
I think photos in all threads should be links or attachments, nothing pisses me off more than big massive pictures of stuff I dont give a rats about slowing things down. It also means scrolling back & forth across the page to read the posts which is a pain. With a link anyone who wants to see it can, those that dont want to see it dont have to.
I must spend too much time here to care that much Where did that life go, Im sure I left it here somewhere.

i've got adsl so it isn't an issue but i had to tolerate a laptop for 3 weeks with a 36 k modem, it was pritty slow but at least you got to see the pics of what was being sold..... but when there is more that 5 pics on the one page, let it load and stand back as it processes i say let the pic be small, ie a maximum file size, anything over can't be posted, or requires a link....
either way goolge has, or will be having soon, a picture storage system. store your pics there!
