How about a Chevy Avalanche, then you could have the matching Traxas truck

Yeah sorry, I got myself all confused. The Yukon isn't even a ute. The Avalanche is nice, but I feel might need just a tad more room for expansion.
How about a GMC Sierra HD?

Hi Mate, I dont know how different the jrx2 wing wire is to the jrx pro but my pro instructions give you a templet to bend up your own wing wire , cost me a couple of dollars for 600mm of wire from my LHS and bada bing bada bang wing wires I can scan the pag and post it if that helps

Hey Dean,

No international travel this time although the distance may be even further!
I'm now living in Perth and have been back in Aus for nearly 12 months.. Time flys!

I was wondering if anyone was planning to get accomodation near the track and was willing to share? My main problem is getting to and from the track without any transportation.. Flights + a hire car, may make the weekend a little too expensive for me..

PM me if anyone can help out?

Cheers

David

David - that is A W E S O M E mate - been sooo sooo long. Will be great to catch up.

Guys - we will have the on-line entries up VERY shortly.

Can I ask that you P L E A S E put your entries in as soon as possible. There are many reasons for this - however the biggest are making a call on whether or not this event is one or two days - or gets canned altogether....I doubt very much that we will can it altogether - however if there are not enough entries - we may just cull it back to one day.

That being said - DO NOT BE AFRAID to enter as many classes as you like - they only cost an extra few dollars per class - and it makes for a full day.

The idea is to have the event over two days so we can have extra fun events, and have expression sessions - so it is a little more like a festival than an all out race meeting....we need you to be pro-active and put your entries in when the on-line entires are up.

Many thanks in advance

Darryn

hey guys

Dan is putting the Vintage Festival online entries up tonight!!!

For those of you who haven't done it before, go to this link http://www.alycat.com/AlycatRC/WebSi...riesSetup.html

you download this little file that is linked there, then open it up and it gives you a list of the meetings that are available to enter. once the Vintage Festival is put up there, you will be able to submit all your details and classes and we'll get this show on the road

We've got the BBQ ready to be fired up again!!! Baggz got us a sweet container that now houses race control and a big fridge so there will be lovely cold drinks available. The track is in great shape, the new layout is still very Vintage friendly, and should provide a great backdrop to some top racing and probably some over the top stories from the good old days

boogity boogity boogity, lets go old school racin' boys!!
