the outlay may seem high , however over the 12 months of the year it works out pretty cheap
2cents worth
this hit home to me a few days ago. i've got a 6T hacker. it's been in 3 different cars....but the motor is still here! unbeleivable. no expense on motor parts what-so-ever...just more money to spend on hop ups.

cant wait until Orion comes out with a stock V2, been running the Orion Element 19t V2 for a few months now and only last week I cut the comm (after about 40 runs) one good pass with the lathe and its done, the brushes still have heaps of life in them as well.

Have you guys tried the EA F-Brushes for stock racing though?? They are fantastic. Increase amp draw buy around 5 amps and also increase RPM by no less then around 2,000rpm. To make them more appealing..... they are very easy on the comm. I didn't even give my motor a cut at all during the summernats. Qualified 2nd and finished 4th overall. Go the EA Motors and F-Brushes!!!!

They are available at www.harrisrc.com

Default Stock too expensive?

Race nitro instead!

Thought I better flame myself instead of waiting for others do!

Hay Rod M,
Do you know what type of brushes come with it.
I received mine and it came with a set of spare brushes but I don't know if they are sprints or enduros.

I've been playing with the v2 endbell mod on my monster stock for a little while and have noticed the comm wear has dropped down big time. very pleased. I know it's not legal yet but I'm not at the pointy end yet - (need time and more practise.

I believe they came with the enduro brushes, there is no way that I could be still using the same brushes after 40 runs otherwise.

hi everyone,
on the topic of stock motors, i've got a simple question that needs answering; what's a good stock motor? (eg. power, price, longetivity, etc.)
thanks for your time
