Does anyone have anycollected data on wear when it comes to Rubber vs Foam?

Say you run the same car with the same set up on the same track layout for the same numers of runs. Once with Rubber and once with foam and both tire types are the same size, compound etc.?

I know one other than a tire manufacture may have this info, but some consistant race might be close.

My bet is that the faster wearing tire is faster if all other things are equal : )

My personal opinions are that rubber tires are easier and cheaper in the long run and foam is faster.

Cool

i personaly prefer foam to rubber. if you want your car to be cleaner rubbers are the way to go. on concrete rubbers are better.

Default Track Surface

Depending on your track surface is what determines what works best. Here in brisbane we have 3 different types of track surface.

This is how it works here Concrete- Rubber
Bituemen-Foam
Carpet- Foam
So from there I quess you could say foam wins

no matter what not every body will agree. if you get rid of rubber tones of people would winge. if you get rid of foam tones of people will winge(me). so it will never be solve whether rubber is better than foam and vis versa. every body will have an opinion .
