PS: Much stronger bottom arms too.. nice.
It's worth trying and the precision and quality is always good from TM.

It's good to see they've moved the battery over to one side and opened up for larger batteries. The main problem with the original E4 is the limited battery option and all round more contemporary design.

I stumbled across some interesting stuff somewhere to do with the new car, some of it from the guy who designed it I think...
If my memory of what I read is right, he was refining the old platform, and that was apparently going well, it was said to hold very high corner speed in relation to more conventional designs, but TM asked him to draft up and I think test a more conventional design, which he did, the new design was said to be slower in the corners, yet not necessarily slower overall.
Of course then you factor in the more conventional design was/is cheaper produce (meaning a lower price tag), easier to work on etc, so TM went with what is shown here.
A few guys in other threads have said it's as fast as anything else out there right now, but really the design is now so common it's not a surprise that any of the current crop is up to job.
I like it comes out the kit with two gear diffs, it would be nice if all kits did that now, cause you can lock up a diff, but you can't unlock a spool, and battery strap out of the box also a thumbs up.
Only design lag I can see, is it's considered running the suspension mounts separate from the bulkhead generates more grip, but saying that the TC6.1 also still bolts them to the bulkheads.
Would I buy one?, not really, quite a few design points I still prefer on the TOP Photons, but it does go to prove you would struggle to go wrong buying any 'new' version electric TC out there now, they are all fairly fantastic.
