Whent down to have a look at the hard work done by all and I just gota say it looks great. Well done hope to see some of you there Sat night I gess for the social thing any way.
On another note I think all new commers would be welcome at this track I hope that would be the case!
And we shouldent forget the work of previous members that went into the track either and that might be the problem with some people who need reconition for there past efforts.
It would be nice if we build the sport/hobby up rather than run the workers down. This would be a win win for all concerned and a whole lot more fun.
Stev can we have more posts on how thing will work eg costs rules ect you know all the good stuff the newbys need to know
Thankyou Malcome

BIG THANKS
I would like to thank everyone who took the time to come and have a run, or just turnup and look, at what we`ve tried to accomplish.
If anyone has any constructive comments we`d love to hear them, having said that, we will probably run a couple of race meetings and see what needs to be rectified and then make changes if necessary.
A couple of people need to be thanked for their help and enthusiasm with the restructure that has happened in the last 2 - 3 weeks. Firstly Brad Palmer, Brad has shown an incredible amount of leadership and drive to enable us to get so far in such a short time,
Tyson, I thought I`d seen just about everything and then old Wobbly Boots surprises all by getting around on his low stool knocking in 250mm long cup head bolts with a 2lb hammer, and
Graham Clark, as always if you need a hand Clarky will be there.
Thanks Guys..........
Lastly, one of the best things to be seen tonight was the smile on Jacinta Pearsons face , She had that Pro 2 flying...
Again thanks to everyone for there time, we hope that you all enjoyed yourselves.
DON`T FORGET
RACING SATURDAY NIGHT 19/02/2005
Nominations from 5:00 pm
Racing starts at 6:00pm sharp

i just suck at driving
i never had any idea that electrics were so fast
tho there was a comment made later in the night about somones car that really pissed me off saying that mugens should be left in the dich
not the matter of what car it is but i thought R/C is

Aaah Racing
Hi out there,
It was a great turn out last night, whether or not people ran or just came down for a look. We even had some new faces who have recently purchased cars and want to learn about them and race them.
The track layout is a lot of fun, but I believe that the chicane should be more severe or else I will never catch the quick blokes. I think the plough disc are worth their weight in gold and look great all painted up. (real race track feel). I cant wait to try out my new MTX3. (hopefully it will survive)
I believe our fearless treasurer was running around like a new father getting feedback on his creation. But I haven't seen my cigar yet.
Lastly a big thanks to all who put in the effort on getting us back ready to run. I look forward to Saturday night.

Who`s driving What ?
It`s good to see that you`ve got the good car and Dads got the dunger.
You propbably will beat me saturday night in one race or another, I`ll run the Corally in 540 and the good old TC3 in stock. So we`re liable the cross paths sometime during the night.
See you and Dad saturday night............

If you want my 2 cents you guys are racing at night under lights when you stop and look can you see the black polly pipe on a black track or do you think you should at least paint it orange or a bright colour so you can see where the barrier is an not just the bad corners but all of the polly so you can get a judgement of where the polly pipe is.

I'll be there for the first night back - could'nt make the practice night - but looking forward to the racing.
And I think Steve should go ok in stock - that TC3 is pretty fast!
Mod should be good!

Hi Rex,
Great idea!
I started to paint the infills last night in grass green, this has further highlighted where the track is, i plan before saturday night to paint the polypipe in the dog leg down the back straight in a fluro colour. After painting the infills last night this section stands out alot better.
Thankyou for your input, anyone with any similar constructive input, please let us know. It all helps in making the track a better place to race for our members.
Regards B1

Tyres
HI GUYS,
Tyres are open.
The last few seasons we have been using Foam tyres, personally myself i am going to try set the car up to run Foams. But if i still can't get the traction i will use the rubbers. I tried the rubbers the other night and they had lots of grip.

I just can't get my head around putting Rubber tyres on a Onroad car.
To me it will always be
Off Road = Rubber Tyres
On Road = FOAMS
& I know FOAMS don't work Off Road
