My few months old DX3R Pro died last week and I'm dissatisfied with the shops response. I'd like to attempt contact directly.

if you have problems there contact horizon hobbies in the states
bit of a much around i know but they replaced a reciever for me that blew up and it was my fault

contact Oreillys on 0881864250 tell them your not happy with your local shops response there very good and should help you out but they are in adelaide

Spektrum should be good to deal with all round. My shop was excellent in their service, but they in turn had excellent service from the importer (Oreillys). One issue I went straight to Horizons via the Spektrum website and I got repsonse and replacement parts sent straight away.

Far cheaper getting Spektrum from OS. It is way to expensive in Australia.

Wrong! Well, depending on where and when you get it. Maybe with today's dollar it might be, but I bought mine from my LHS as it was cheaper or as cheap at the time. Plus you get the back up when it comes to warranty and support. Although OP seems like he's not right now...

6 months ago I saved $198 buying the radio and radio case from OS. I guess in this case I am right It's a good, well known brand and I don't know of anyone having to return stuff because it has been faulty in the first 12 months.

I posted 1st post a few minutes after calling the shop. (That call ended with my request for just an ETA rejected saying that was an unreasonable request)
I got a call back soon after with feedback from Spektrum and update that radio is being posted back to the shop.

The feedback was unexpected. Radio due back in a few days so I'm waiting to see if I have a working radio.

To Dadaman - rcmart currently $320 for a DX3R Pro Radio kit (plus shipping)
I paid $330 locally in October. I'm sure rcmart was the same price then.

So please share - where can I get a DX3R Pro kit for $132 ?
(I would like to save $198 too)

Likewise, 'the' cheapest place I could get a DX3R-Pro from, was my most local hobby shop, it would have been impossible to get it anywhere else cheaper.

Actually, embarrassingly I have to say I paid less for my Pro, than I did for my DX3S a couple of years ago, and I got that from OS at the cheapest possible price at the time, kind of hurts to think back on that one...

Anyone wana buy a cheap DX3S?...

I shopped around for about 2 months before I got mine and this was the cheapest place on earth that I could find.

Maybe that was why it was so cheap ... eliminating stock
