Really? What is the reason? I'd much prefer 4-cell, but if thats what your going to run than I'll keep the AE 12L3.

go to www.teamcrc.com to find out more about the car in general. i have the crc f1 and 1/12 but its the knife not the sixpack. ill have mine at castle hill so if you want you can have a look come over. mine doesnt use a t-bar though so its a very different design to the sixpack.

Hi Coxy

If you want I can bring to CH for you to have a look, not a scratch on the chassis since it only run on carpet.

I'm guessing but I'ld say they are trying to keep it uniform with touring cars. That way you can run your packs in both.

Personally I prefer 6 as it's awesome to drive for 8 minutes flat out, especially with the performance they have. No worrying about runtime. And who wants to pull packs apart to race a couple of times a year or buy more packs. They cost enough now!

It would be good to see some enduro's for these things. Last weekend at HPI a few people had a drive of mine. The one pack lasted 30 minutes with HV's/16T. I'ld love to see a 1 hr enduro with 27Turns. That would have to be fun!

TL2111- Definitely bring it up to CH, as I know there are a few people up there looking for one.

this is just my oppinion but, i think we should go with 4cell mod like the rest of the world. if everyone else is running 4cell and the worlds use that format why should we try and be different. also soldering off one battery bar is too much trouble for you, you must be a very busy man.

ausracer, that is exactly my opinion, to be honest, if you going to fit out a 1/12 scale car, you can go and buy 2 very similar loose 6 cell packs and make three 4-cell packs no problem.

You guys have to be kidding, you would be willing to go out and buy packs, at 350-400, to race a car in two sanctioned meets a year. I agree with scotty, keep the same packs, run unlimited motors, and hang on for 8 minutes, that way driving will really become the factor. Or is that what you guys are afraid of? Maybe we should run 4 cell 540, that would be really fun

I hate people who say that our rules should mimick those of other countries, if we have rules that suit the majority, so be it.
The only reason why you should run 4 cell IMO, is if the number of chassis for 6-cell become obsolete/unavailable.

I wonder what sort of runtime you would get out of a stock motor with it? could be interesting, but i have enough trouble to keep my concentration for 5 minutes, let alone 8.

Well in Australia, there is not a great majority of 1/12 scale racers anyway......
And, 75% of 1/12 scale cars available are designed to run 4-cell.

Driving is always a factor in these cars anyway!
