Only consider the GTB2 if you are running 21.5 blinky.

If you want to run 17.5, get the Hobbywing Xerun or Tekin RS speed controls. As for a 17.5 motor, the Speed Passion MMM is pretty good.

Dont get the Justock unless you want to run 0 timing (no boost). This speedie is only good for 21.5.

If you are new to racing, I still suggest you run 21.5 blinky.

To make it easy, here is a list

21.5 (blinky)
ESC
Tekin RS (turn off boost)
Hobbywing XERUN (turn off boost)
Novak GTB2
Hobbywing Justock

Motor
LRPX12 21.5

17.5
ESC
Tekin RS
Hobbywing XERUN

Motor
Speed Passion MMM
Fantom Ion
Epic Duo 3

I would only consider one if someone gave it to me for free.

I have used mine for 12 months in 21.5 blinky & VTA and have never had any problems. It helped me get a podium at Muchmore Masters and second at the NSW state titles. It is easy to set up and runs reasonably cool.

I even used one at the VTA enduro at SMA and it ran flawlessly during several 30 minute stints.

Everyone has their preferences
