Guys,

thanks for your comments regarding the 21.5 blinky and control tyres in the M-chassis class.

Please don't think that just becasue it has been raised here any changes are set in stone. This is why we have a committee, to discuss these changes and ratify them.

Personally, I think the only class that should have locked gearing is Novice, as Craypot has pointed out.

I need to find out more on the locked gearing/no boot class as the idea is sound but as it was discssed with me there was no context given to it.

As for the mini tyres, we need to work out what the goal is, then work the rules from there.

Hi Guys,

thanks to all thoes who attended last night and contributed to the meeting.

I fear we may have rushed things a touch at the end of the night, so if anything was missed please let me know and we will discus it at the next meeting.

Alot came out of this, most of it administrative so I'll cut to the chase for thoes who are interested in the 21.5 Blinky class and the Mini tires.

Mini: Mini tyres will be restricted to tires that are either slicks or have a treaded/radial face, rally blocks or tyres with an offroad apperance will not be permitted.

21.5. Three TC classes will be effected:
Novice: 21.5 motors running ESC's with no dynaic timing will be permitted along with 540 motors. Noting that Novice mandates the use of ruber tyres and restricted roll out (30mm).

21.5/540. 21.5's can run in this class, dynamic timing (boost) will not be permitted.

Stock. 21.5's are permitted in this class, with dynamic timin (boost). 17.5 motors will still be able to run with dynamic timing.

One last change was introduced for Modified. At Kambah only, Mod will run for 5 minutes, to address issues of parity Mod will run an additional qualifier, scheduled as the first race of the day.

More information as I get things properly written up will be made available.

That all sounds reasonable Mark. Pretty much most peoples expectation I believe and should cater for most. Your previous post, you said nothing was set in stone. Is the above now set? Effective when? Start of next season, I imagine.

Sadly the race meeting scheduled for today has been called off due to rain. Round 5 of the drivers’ championship will now be held on the 8th of January.

This Tuesday night is the final round in Indoors for the year. If you were all fired up to go racing at Kambah this week why not come along on Tuesday and have a run ‘on the rug’. Unfortunately as it is indoors we can’t run any nitro’s.

Hey Pops, Mil, whoever else was running 21.5 last round last year.

What's an approximate rollout you guys were using in blinky? Might need to buy some new gears so want to get prepared before the season starts... Cheers

Will do. Thanks.

Was that on the rug, or at Kambah though?
