Everyone out there, feel free to PM me if you have any problems with http://www.rcracer.com.au

Its only been live for a couple of days, so there are a couple of teething problems. If you aren't recieving your activation email, PM me and I'll follow that up for you.

Is it just me, or do others see the irony in having to PM someone on RCTECH to say they have a problem with another RC forum?

sorry, admin had closed the forum for a little while to try and get the activation emails past the ISPs spamguards so the site was down.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Because you're running phpBB2, make sure you keep it up to date and keep an eye on Bugtraq and Full Disclosure lists...

I personally just think it really bad form to advertise a Forum in a Forum. I would have a real good look at what you doing here.

Coxy.

I know where you are coming from. All that we are intending on doing is to let people know that we are out there. I think its in Australians interests to know that we exist. It's just an idea that myself and a friend came up with for Australian Clubs. The best thing about it is being able to have threads within your own club instead of having an entire thread dedicated to your club and having to sift through the garbage to find something that relates to you. That was our motivation for it, nothing else. With the current RCTech system in place there is no facility to cater for that at the moment. I hope you guys understand what we are doing here. Sorry if this does offend anyone by any means.

Personally I think it is a good idea,

I would of done this ages ago, but lack of time made it impossible,

what sort of server specs is it running on?

Not sure of it technically as I have not built the framework. The guy who did build it though makes websites for corporate clients for his living, he's a freelancer web designer basically.
