Default Mitchell Park Electric Off-Road, Adelaide

Gday all.

I just thought I'd better get the word out about Mitchell Park.
It's an off-road track at the northern end of Bradley Grove, Mitchell Park.
Even has a drivers rostrum.

The bash last weekend was a success, good turn out and plenty of cars!

Next bash is Saturday 4th June 2011, 10:30am.

If you've got something electric, and off-road bring it along.
Vintage, Modern, 2wd, 4wd, STC, Buggy, Truggy, Monster Truck, doesn't matter.
All are welcome!

We're just bashing at this stage, but might progress into organised racing depending on interest.

Charge those batteries, and get your cars dirty!

Bring 'em on down!
Treat them to some dirt!

Some pics/video would be great.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

You beat me to it LOL,

Yep, lets get this off the ground, with modern electronics providing a resurgence in electric offroad, lets get something going here in Adelaide.

As listed above, whatever you got bring it along, was very cool last time seing some oldies like the Falcon, Fox, Frog, Losi XX turning some laps down there, along with the SCT's rubbin panels, and even a new Losi 22 getting a shake down.

Dust it off, and have a run.
You might decide to keep it afterwards!

Might try and get the Lunchie done in time, not as nuts as a 6.5 like we saw , just a Sport Tuned in it, but should still be fun .

Hope the showers hold off

I'm unaware of any organised 1/10 electric offroad racing in SA at present, So I'd be pretty certain in saying no.

I'm new to SA (return after 10 years) so anyone else can correct me if I'm wrong

Hey,

At this point there is no state title event held in SA for EP Offroad. The last title event was in 2000!

Oh, ok. I just read the information at the top of this page of the thread, and assumed that since the club was running electric race days, then there was a possibility that there was a state title as well.

If you did want to hold one, I doubt there would be too many obstacles. Someone from AARCMCC or VORTEC would probably be quite keen to help.
