Default RC Motorbikes, how to....

Anyone got any experience with RC bikes?

I recently bought one and took it for its maiden run today.

Geezus!! How the hell do you drive the things? I can go straight really fast but ask me to turn and its almost impossible!!

Any tips?

The bike i run is a Quanum QRF-400 dirtbike that uses opposite steering (transmitter turns left, bike wheel turns right).

Cheers,

Alan.

The steering is supposed to work that way. There is nothing wrong with the steering directions.

hey mate,
I have a dx450 bike, and yes leave the steering. If the gyro in the rear wheel can be adjusted, lighten it. It will make the bike more responsive. Put lighter weight oil in the front forks.
Use the brakes alot when turning, to slide the bike in the right direction.
If you have a bmx track nearby, it's heaven to rail berms and clear the jumps.
