hey guys can you use those cheap tires that have radial tread on them like real car tyres. im sure that these tyres have no grip which would be good for drifting? and hopefully wear rate is low as well.

BrainYeased, no treads (ie slicks) are usually better for drifting on asphault. The wear is very low, I've been using my Semi Slicks/Slicks combo for at least a year now and the front semi slicks are just turning to slicks now.

OldSkool, I mean proper rubber tires, stuff you could use for races if you wanted to.

Does any one find ABS pipe in Sydney metro area?

i tried many plumbing supplies, they dont carry this stuff....

pvc is easy to find, but too slippery.

Hi Ken what are semi slicks? as you said your front semi slicks are turning into slicks now. (sorta sounds like treaded rubber/rubber with a pattern on them)

hey guys whats the difference with ABS pipe and PVC ? i thought they were the same. so sounds like ABS could be fun as well if its more grippier than PVC.

They're tires with only a bit or tread in them, not fully treaded but just a bit. Basically it has crosses on each side of the tire.

ABS is made of a much softer compound and gives you more grip. More than PVC at least.
