A change of format for round 4 did little to shake the top 3 cars in the championship from their top spots.

8 cars took part in a one off 10 minute race with the grid lining up in reverse championship order. Dennis Lueng took an early lead until Deniz Demarco got through and went on for the win. David Chen was ultimately second from Dennis with Paul Smith in fourth. Brett Allen was fith from Ken Ting and Mark Spaile. Trent Allen was 8th after an early DNF.



TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIP

Only one team had both drivers racing this week but with Trent's electrical issues sidelining him, Powerhouse were able to extend their lead over Allentec by a single point. One car team SP racing is closing in on third place after Telefonica sat this round out.



GP2 CHAMPIONSHIP

Ken and Mark were able to make big ground this week in both championships with Ken taking the full points in GP2, Their respective teammates will have to do some major catching up in round five!

My kids want start 1/10 on road racing. Tempe being our closest track I would like to know whether electric or nitro is preferred. I am not fussed with either, I just want one that will give us more track time.

SMA is exclusively electric these days and that's a good place to start.

Best thing to do is come down to the track when a meet is happening and have a chat to the guys at race control who can hook you up with some local expertise. The club's sponsors are regularly there and carry a very wide range of gear for both novice and experienced RC peoples.
