Default Airtronics

Hi,

Just a quick question buying a 2.4 AIRTRONINCS radio from America will it work in Australia i think it will but just want to make sure.

Is it actually legal though. They don't have the C tick... or do people still buy them anyway. It is tempting when some radios are half the price.

Yep will be fine,I know plenty of people that are using the M11X
Just ordered one myself to upgrade from my M11 with 2.4 module

the only issue is running 75mhz thats illegal as emergency services use that frequency, 2.4ghz is all good

i bought my m11x from the states, and i love it.

only thing is the battery charger it comes with is rated for 110 volts.

My first radio was an M11 and I got it from the States. As said previously, the 75Mhz range is not allowed to be used but 2.4 is fine. Airtronics is rebadged here in Australia as Sanwa.

Got mine from the states and it is rated for 110 - 240 volts. Only need a adaptor and everything is good

Got my Sanwa M11 from Japan which at the time was cheaper than the USA
