it could work if it was done properly, but relies heavily upon the support from the racers in vic.

given our shithouse weather, and the amount of people who rock up for boronia clubnights each wednesday, i think an indoor track in the east melbourne area could work quite well.

essendon airport has plenty of vacant hangars that could be setup for off road or on road tracks and only 10km's from the cbd.

You'd probably attract more interstate / long distance interest with an indoor track also. I'd like to take some trips down for holidays etc but when you aren't sure of the weather then there's not much point.
