From the AARCMCC onroad proposals "
Option 1 – Strongest option
17.5 or 21.5 open motor, zero timing ESC (comprising either a banned ESC short list or a short list of allowed ESC’s)
17.5 Open Motor, open ESC

So why in off-road is there no option for OPEN Motor OPEN Speed controller just restrictions restrictions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we will be selling programable software mods that allow timing to be hidden an led inicators to "look" an :act" like they are at the allowed settings
will only be avalible for tekin esc's at this stage but more to come in the future
goes on sale end of the month in the states please follow the hugely expected progress/backlash , we didnt make the rules but we sure as hell will take advantage of them
regardless i doubt your aarcmcc will let your option b get up anyhow given there track record , you have a beautiful country but your one of the most regulated countrys in alot of things rc is no differnt it seems and your profiteering distributors in the aarcmcc seem no differnt (you have a ridiculous amount of road signage as well LOL)
maybe you also ask them to allow turnigy an zippy lipos to be added to your approved lists conisders 3/4 of them of the list buy there cells off us
