Default off road foam tyre inserts

Just bought a pair of 1/10th caliber fronts and the inserts are very wide maybe even the width of the rear inserts
Just wondering if anyone has some advice on how much to cut off and the difference in handling the varying sizes/ profile generates
cheers
Steve

Cheers Ruben, It would be the equivelant of 100PSI if I shoved all that foam in the tyre

120 more like it but on some patterns I do use all the foam.. depends on how much side bite you can handle

I used to cut mine but have been leaving them full for a while now.

It's abit tricky to get them all in neatly but i reckon the tyre works better & lasts longer.

Calibers fronts are 30mm wide from sidewall to sidewall and the foam inserts are 50mm wide, does all that foam go in there?

Believe me all that foam does go in there.. I personally cant be bothered cutting them unless I have a specific pattern or width I am looking for such as a vintage for example... The new formed rubber ones will be here very soon anyways that will make life easier in some respects..
