I had no idea...........
What classes do you run your electric 1/10th with? Had a look at the results, and it was not marked by class, so I figured it's an all in gas/nitro?
Is this correct?
I know a few guys that might come down with me for a race meet one week-end, and it would be good to know if we can fit in with say a 10th electric stadium truck.....
Thanks

Geelong RC Offroaders have had a track for about 4 years, the track was recently relocated to another section of the sporting grounds. Its a relatively small track, but it makes for some fun racing. All the members are pretty cruzey, its competative but the major focus is on fun.
Once the nicer weather comes into play there will hopefully be track improvements on the cards for longer laptimes & more airtime. One of the new members of the club has come up with some really nice designs which I would personally be stoked to see come to fruition.
Most of the guys are racing 1/8th nitro's (buggy and truggy) but we often have electric cars in the mix racing the clock.
We are hoping to expand the club and in turn, get a better setup all round.
Come on down for a look one weekend but check the forum first to make sure racing is on, we have to make late calls during winter based on weather forecasts as you can understand.

Geelong RC Offroaders have packed up shop, and moved location to a MUCH larger facility.
We have a 320mtr long track pegged out, and should be up and racing in Feb / March 2011 . . .VIC racers please stay tuned.
We will be running an AMBrc decoder, but unfortunately we won't be able to supply hand-out transponders on a regular basis, but all you guys with PT's are in luck.
Email updates about our progress will be sent out reguarly so sign up to our mailing list by emailing: [email protected]
thanks

Yeah I drove past the other week and the track looked like it had been washed away. Looking forward to bringing the E-truggy to the new track

Still a lot of work required to turn this into the A1 track we are hoping for, but we are making great progress each week:
