Fixing gearing would be a nightmare as it can take different pinions and spurs. Better just to slow it down with a slower motor and ESC

Fair enough. I will be happy to run whatever in it. I loved running my old tamiya FWD When my new pro arrives I have the perfect body for it!

I also remember having a cry when Bobby Campbell traded in his Nissan 300ZX for one.

my opinion is they should race with the other 4wd tourers using normal rules.

They are too fast for the mini's, and not worth starting an entire class for. When elec and nitro race it is a long day already.

Looks like the FF03 comes with three different wheelbase lengths like the M03/05

not worth starting an entire class for? no offense but with that kinda thinking progress would be non-existant. we would probably still be racing tamiya ta01's with nicad batteries & mechanical speedies with gt tuned brushed motors

I reckon its time racing got a shake up - too many 4wd classes with novice, 540, stock, super stock, 21.5, mod. get rid of one and make a ff03 specific class. up to individual clubs to decide of course but hope they are more forward thinking & accepting.

Sure do! I cant wait for mine to arrive. If they do introduce a stock/fixed timing/whatever class I will run this car in that class

Untill then I wait....
