I haven't yet mate and First run will be this Sunday. How have you found the transition? I have a Duo 1 to run with it and a Duo 2 as back up. I have faith it will be as fast but more drivable otherwise i wouldn't have got rid of the Tekin just yet.

Will see how it all boils over in August as our titles is shaping up to be a corker Then when we all invade your place in November hey

$170 plus post for the 120a plus lcd program card from Feral. Cant get any better than that
$150 with the latest wares on it for the Speed passion LPF GT2.0 to your door direct from Honkers for the 120a although it doesnt come the LCD programer but you do get a choice of colours. if nothing else i am rapped with the way it prefforms regargless of the maker or brand, just my personal preference.

what does the new xtreme stock esc do that the 120a cannot do?

since they are all updatable, couldnt you update the 60/120a with the same software as what the xtreme stock comes with?

I went passed the Tekin and straight to the Hobbywing I havent had a chance to really stretch its legs yet. I'm hoping to get a few laps with it very soon and test it at home base. I'm running mine with the same Lrp X11 17.5 i've always had and with the 518 software and the hottest it has been was 136f during my only full race at the Vics.(vehicle malfunctions, not ESC)

Not having had a Tekin, from what i have read the power delivery is smoother? Our clubby is next weekend so i should have some more info then, unless i get some practice laps in before then. i did take it over to the netball courts near my house to run a charged pack down a bit( courts are huuuuge and coated) and the top end speed was crazy

The only difference is the size of the esc the xtreme stock is lighter and smaller and a touch more linear on the power distribution thats all .You can still use your 120amp with the turbo timing software and have the same results .with the extreme you cannot use anything lower than a 8.5t were the 120amp can run down to a 3.5T but remember every other motor manufacturer's resistance values are not the same from one to another so maybe a 4.0T and above will be safer also dont forget to use high quality battery's with a true discharge rating .

The xtreme stock is the esc that will lead the way in technology and the way the future esc's from hobbywing will look like.

I haven't tried 528(or 518, whatever the mod one is) but 205g_T is the softwre that is most frequently used for mod. Both of them come with the latest version of the HW PC suite
