Default Help with Tekin charger and Tekin ESC

Hi guys can somebody please give me some advice .I have a Tekin BC 100S charger and a Tekin Pro Tempfet esc (see pictures).

I got these when I purchased an item they came as an extra .

Here is the thing how can I test either the charger or esc to find out if they are working especially the esc as its connectors are different to anything I have (All I have is Tamiya gear).

I want to sell both of them but would like to know first if they are working ,I know I could probably put a multi meter on the charger while its connected to a power source to see if its working is there any other method ?. But as I mentioned the esc really has be baffled.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance .

Stuart.

Hi swarm
Now theres some old gear.
You will need a ni-cd battery 7.2volts to test the charger as it only
chargers ni-cd cells

The ESC blue wire to neg motor black to neg battery.

Hope this helps

Thanks for your reply mate .

Oh okay an easy way to test the charger as I have a heap of ni-cd batteries laying around.

So I could just jury rig the esc to a standard silver can for test purposes ? and use a reciever of course .

Any real demand for this ancient gear ? is it even worth testing out ? or just bin the lot.

Thanks again for your help.

Stuart.

Yes use a silver can motor or the smaller (380) motor so they do not rev
as high.

Not worth binnig though esc will still take ni-mh and li-po, just the charger
may as well put it on the shelf looks in great condition for it's age had one
myself years ago.

Cheers Jay
