Emirates is the only way, i changed my wifes 2 times, no fees.

Yeah, changing wives is expensive in most western legal systems...

LOL yeah changing the flight proved to be cost prohibitive, even after I had got the better half over the line. Have a good time you lucky SOBs!

Tekin power wont help Morris though, those corner things are his undoing. Let me know how fast Hara's SXX is down the straight though

Speaking of Thailand, I'll be refreshing RedRc every 30seconds to look at pics of a angry aussie dood hacking Hara, Rheinard, Surikan....etc in Mini.

I guess you now go from 540 to Mod then drop back to "stock", witch will kill the Mod class Mod is meant to be for advanced drivers who have gained the experience over running in (what is meant to be) the slower classes and learning the craft of set up and driving. Now the dude with the lap top can win even if the dude cant drive around corners or pick a line and stay there! Stock is an expensive step from 540, seems Mod may be easier to do I am a stock runner with a nice set up and on a good day my car can (over a lap) keep with and challenge the tekin boys that's with a lot of set up and ratio calculations. Basically I use speed passion 2 motor and a Venom Esk. Tekin gets a jump of around 2 to 3 car lengths out of a corner but peak early witch means for the Knox track with the right ratio's you will be on them mid or late main straight. The rest is corner speed oh and I race off road

Sorry, but unless your track is devoid of any corners, it takes more than power to win races.
SKILL and CONSISTENCY are more important in winning races....

You missed the point. Poeple can go fast between corners but corner speed will bring you back to them, now go and sort your cars to achieve the corner speed

Well then - I can race you with my 17.5t & you with your silver can - but you will win due to your skill & consistency. Think you missed the point.

Two drivers racing - consistency is both with in .2 - but one kills the other due to being able to buy the newest ESC... in the stock class...

If people move in to mod simply because of things like this - "MOD" will no longer be an "ADVANCED" class - but simply a class for people to "go fast" & the class will lose the prestige?

Think about - new drivers move to MOD instead of Stock because MOD is more even? Don't really work.

Interestingly, Stock is a LOT more competitive at Windsor then Mod.

Default tekin

its quite simple guys, stop whining, sick of people moaning about buying new electronics to keep up.

GET A TEKIN, and you will be competitive for a very long time. Its one of the cheapest brushless speedies you can get, and arguably the best.

cant wait to re-acquaintance myself with another tekin after swaying for abit.

if you cant beat em.....join em

they never really had 10.5 class for offroad, only at 1 nationals and some state titles, but that has been canned now due to low numbers.

and they do run mod at onroad clubbies, but its a struggle getting the numbers.

I don't give a toss about which class people choose to step up to.
The other guy said that a laptop will win you races , even is you can't drive.
THIS is what I was replying to. And if you spend half the time on your lid, you could be beaten by a good 540 driver. Not that I even said anything like this.

Drivers win races, an ESC,Battery nor a motor can conquer all by itself .
This is MY point .
I understand why some people are complaining, but there will always be something.
It used to be buying new cells every fortnight....
At present, the rapid changes continue on, so either you keep spending the dough every month or two, or you work on things you can control.
As the last guy said, get the corner speed up. On smaller tracks this will help.

If not ,be happy to be racing at all, if not , join another class, perhaps a knitting one ?
