Don't forget to download and print a copy of the customs declaration for when you go to Thailand from the TITC home page. You will require it, if questioned about your RC gear.

Regards,

Calvin.

I just saw the entrant list (to date). That is damn massive. Looks like it will be about six days between rounds.

Good luck everyone and have a safe trip.

For those leaving from Sydney, if you leave after next Thursday, the new Duty Free Store (current one is temporary) will be open after Customs. Check out the Harley Davidson Fat Boy in the store. It might be a bit big for carry on.

AN UPDATE

Went to the track today

The track is seriously good.

Very sticky (still trying to get one of my shoes back)

Not as big as Whalan

For the guys racing, taxi cost 150 baht plus 100 in tolls to get there. Going other ways was a waste of time.

For the 11.5 boys, the motors were for sale at the track for 2100 baht (about $70) if you want a practice motor

Mod guys .. the control tyre is the MM 32VP and is 900 baht ($30) at the track

The pit area is seriously hot and that was only with 10 guys there so race conditions will be bad with over 300 I would imagine

Will go back for some practice on Monday

Senna, your hotel looks good. It is a converted apartment block but they still seem to be working on it

Greg,

Good to hear you have arrived safely and already checked out the track. I bet Gifsy was happy to see you. Sounds like you had better invest in a fan or two.

Good luck with your testing on Monday. I will check in this thread or my PM's for any other info.

Interesting to hear how they are getting the 3Racing speed sets to work in their mini's and that the handout tyres are working very well.

BTW,

You left at the right time, its been raining almost non stop since last night.

Catch ya later,

Calvin.

just what Wayne needs is to stay in a convent or nunnery to keep him honest
