New Off Road 1/8 & 1/10 track in Roxby Downs
Hi Everyone,
Here in Roxby Downs, (90 kays North of Woomera), we have contructed a 350m to 380m off road track, for our local club members. Its a crusher dust based track. Its a flat track at the moment with a 52m main straight. In the next month we should have completed installing the jumps. On our website we have a aerial photo so have a look.
We are setting up to run our first club competion for 2010, and we have been speaking with the Whyalla Club about joining in a inter club race session.
Here in Roxby we are running 1/8 & 1/10 Nitro's and Electric's off road versions (Monster Trucks, Truggies and Buggies). Early in the new year we will be starting construction of our tarmac track, right along side our off road version.
We are only a young club, with 30 members, but still growing (1 to 2 new members per month). We have a website as well, however due too been new to the forum I cannot post a webpage url yet.
We are looking to in the near future invite everyone up to join us for a big race meet. There is a few issues we need to sort out (Local Council and other Clubs in the area). So keep a eye out for the Roxby Boys.
See you soon in Roxby
