Default Gear Ratios for Eastern Creek, Castle Hill and Northside

Hi guys,

Was wondering if someone could help me with the gear ratios people run at these track.

27T for all the tracks above.

23T for Eastern Creek (Do Meca run at any other tracks?)

Thanks

Hey DZ

With 23T. I'll be running either one of the Yokomo's. LR LT SR ST. Also have The Luna's.

Just want a rough idea of what gear ratio to cover. Want to supply enough pinion gears.

With 27T, I can't seem to get hold of any of the popular 27T's used in OZ. So assuming that I'll be running one of them motor's. A rough gear ratio would be nice.

Thanks

I'll be using simliar 23 turn motors...
LT i tried last week at 37 roll out only had one run with it. Rollout was to high i'm going to try about 34 and work from there next weekend ST never used it but has more power then the LT so 37 might be good for it. SR LR i haven't used this but heard they do get hot not matter what rollout you run.. maybe save these motors for winter.
Also i have the luna LT but haven't run it

if you get a monster 27 turn try about 28 to 30 rollout at the creek and 26 to 28 at the castle hill.. preferable you like a more torque motor for the hill. North side not to sure what they use there but i guess it would be very simliar to the creek

hope this helps

I've never understood the difference between 27 Turn, 23 Turn etc...
How do you actually tell the difference just by looking at the Motor?
What is the difference?

you can't really tell from the outside. the only way is to check the arm, in the motor. both have certain specs which the maufacture have to follow when building/desgining to become legall
