Hi guys, I'm struggling to find some either intellect 1400 or GP 1300 loose cells so i was wondering if i could get like a hump pack for a nitro and pull that apart to make some packs. Can i do this or will it not work due to the cells only being made to draw low amps etc? Also could someone point me in the direction to where i can buy some loose GP 1300 or IP 1400 cells?

What chassis are you intending to use the packs for? 6 cell or 5 cell? Have you considered using Lipo. Much better.

BTW yes it could be done. I would have thought there were many store that could order in single cells. I used to before going lipo.

Its a Scalpel so its only 4 cell but its in saddle formation so 2 on each side. Im pretty sure you can't use a lipo cause in the middle of the 4 cells the shocker runs in between them.

So hump pack cells will perform alright. Cause if i got 2x 6 cell receiver hump packs pulled them apart i could make 3 packs.

Ah I see, yes your right. I recently sold my Scalpel. I recall RCHobbies had 18th scale six cell side by side packs in either 1400 or 1600 mah. I pulled apart these before but I do prefer GP1300.
