i thought it was suppose to be entry fee and a set of tyres paid for if you win the event?

Simon,

I think the form means that the tyres will be a bonus beyond the free entry

Should read

BONUS –
Win your second set of National Qualifying wheels and tyres!

Custom Model Cars will supply your second set of Qualifying tyres at this years Australian Nationals – FREE*

* Must register with CMC before the A main finals on the Sunday

Hope this clears up any confusion . . .

Best Regards,

Matt

I noticed that the tyres only come if you win on the nats combo. Bring a set of MM32 for Q I guess.

why run MM's when the nats are on sorex? I dont understand how at the last mecca majority of the field were running MM's and foams? Wouldnt this race of been good practice for the nats?

Matt this still doesnt answer my questiong? Does that mean the tyres are ontop of the entry fee as a bonus? or the tyres are wat u get paid for as a bonus of winning the race?

Lol you get more practice on a non club day so what tyres you use for this event are pointless.

Default The Prize

Dear Simon and fellow Racers,

Here’s how the prize will work:

Example 1: If you win the Modified A main out right on MuchMore tyres, SORMCC will cover the cost of your Nationals entry and Ari will cover the cost of your first set of Sorex controlled tyre to be used at the Au Nationals, 2009

Example 2: If you win the Modified A main out right on the Sorex Nationals controlled combo tyres, SORMCC will cover the cost of your Nationals entry, Ari will cover the cost of your first set of Sorex controlled tyre to be used at the Au Nationals and Custom Model Cars will cover a second set of the Sorex controlled tyres.

Example 3: If you use Foam tyres you will be disqualified and asked to leave the event, as this will not be in the spirit of the competition

You must register with Custom Model Cars (Look for the Team XRAY Tent) before the A mains (Mod/Super Stock/Stock) and elect to use the controlled tyre combo (Sorex 36/Sorex Rim/Sorex C med insert), your tyre sets will be checked after all three A mains.

Custom Model Cars will have the Sorex tyres available for sale at this event.

Price will be confirmed early next week.

If you still need any further information, please call Matt on 02 9579 4007.

Thank you.
