Hey Guys,

Don't forget our first On-Road meeting (points) for the year is on this Sunday 1st. February.

And we'll all need to earn some points for the first round of the VORTEC Interclub Challenge on 29th February at Geelong.

Check the 2004 Race Calendar at the SERCCC web site.

But you have a bunch of VORTEC points, too.
Now you just have to work on that Valentines Day issue.

I KNEW there was something wierd about you Gav

So you ran yesterday, good stuff, looks like a small turnout though, the rain i guess.

So what happened ? Who did what ?

Would have popped by but was busy racking up the brownie points

Yes, a fairly ordinary turnout, I thought. We dried the track and only experienced very minor spitting a few times - not enough to stop a heat or anything.

Sleepy and Grumpy dropped in for a look see and went again. Apparently they were all raced out after the Vic's - just no committment, I reckon.
The only class with a decent field was "Touring". Jordan is running with Matt Cole this year in the Kyosho Cup. Their final was very good to watch with 7 seconds covering the first 7 places or something.

At the end of the day the dwarves returned with a 1/8th buggy for Grumpy to run in. Rob is looking to run it next weekend. Luke R arrived with his newly built Evo to run in & test the with his near new NS3. Tell Ryan we only had to screw in the bottom end needle about 11 turns to get it somewhere near right.

Picard is looking to sell his Schuey and get himself a Serpent . . . . there's just no helping some people.
