Default Sydney Tamiya F201-103RM and GT's Thread

Dear Racers,

In discussion with a few 201 and 103 enthusiasts, we all thought it would be a great idea to start a dedicated Auuise thread for our much loved, 201. and 103 RM and GT's. Given the recent surge in our regular get together's at SMA this may become a good thread to communicate ideas and source parts etc to keep our cars running and as a class hopefully grow and stay maintained for a long while.

I know most of these classes like 1/12 and others are somewhat seasonal but with the recent release of the 103 15th F1 car and now the 104 and not to mention talk of the 201 making a comeback who knows?

We may be the new generation founders of what is truly an awesome set of cars they look great feel and drive great and are a true racing model!

Anyway please feel free to start discussion, swap some ideas, help eachother with parts etc and above all have fun...

I thought a good way to begin is by posting up my list of spare parts Im carrying at the moment, perhaps if the bigger collector of parts also go through their bits so we can at least know what we have and maybe help some of the guys who are in the process of building one etc..

I'll also be putting up my list of links where I have been sourcing parts etc...

regards,
and let start them motors!
Rube

The cars look great getting around the track together, fastest lap qualifying is a nice touch too. It'll be interesting to see how the class goes. Rubes you should post the rules for anyone that wants to bring one down e.g. What HW systems you're using

I can't wait till some 2wds come out, hopefully they can find some rubber tyres that will grip up at night
