Smile Advise re; SP GTV1.1 esc

Hi Guys,
got a SP GTV1.1 esc I'd like to try with a brushed motor..

The Program card says it will do brushed motors

Problem is, I don't have an instruction sheet, so if anyone has one they could email it to me at [email protected],

Or can advise me as to which wire goes where plus some tips on how to adjust via the program card would be most appreciated

Many thanks in advance...

Thats ok... I checked out the SP site and they didn't have a manual so I was going to scan it for you but looks like you now have it. Use the forward/brake mode. There is no real advantage to using the maximum power mode. If I remember correctly there was a trick to using one of the setups but can't remember at the moment. See how it goes 1st.

BTW if you need another GT I have a 1.0 and a 1.1 lying around... Though someone is using the 1.1 at the moment. I'll have to ask if they want it.

Jim,
I just brought a GT pro 2.0. I have worked out how to program them with the cards. I'll show you on Firday night if you are still stuck.
The SP's are bloody hard to set up.

Don't suppose you know if the programming boxes are compatible between v1.1 and v2?

I have been using a 1.0 box on my 1.1 and 2.0 since I have had it. The only difference is that some of the figures don't match up on the front. For instance the 2.0 dosen't have a temp cut.. so option 11 dosen't exsist on the 2.0 and if you use a older card it simply won't give you the option. I would conclude that the box is simply an input and display device and the actual programming occurs on the speedy itself.

If you have a 2.0 you will LOVE running it with spec brushless like 17.5 and 10.5. Gear down a few teeth and you will have more speed than your old speedy with much more power.
